Mission Statement: Florence-Lauderdale Public Library (FLPL) strives to be indispensable to community success by providing every citizen with a reason to use the library. FLPL is a gathering place for new ideas, a technology hub, and a center of learning, creation, and diversity.
The Florence-Lauderdale Public Library is committed to developing quality programs, materials circulation, enrichment classes, and community relationships. Our knowledgeable staff of librarians, specialists, archivists, and volunteers is eager to help and share their expertise. FLPL has a used bookstore operated by the Friends of the Library that uses its proceeds to support the maintenance and growth of the library.
